On the banks of the North Saskatchewan River, 11 minutes drive northeast of Drayton Valley you will find a local ski hill managed by the Drayton Valley Brazeau Snow Club.
The hill is a great learn to ski location. With a t-bar, a tow rope, and a tube park.
Ski the Area
Maybe you skied a long time ago or want to learn to ski. The local ski hill is a perfect family friendly destination to add to your winter bucket list. Note that the ski hill is dependent on a natural snow base and needs at least 6″ of packed snow before opening. Follow the Brazeau Snow Club facebook page for updates.

The hill has five main runs including a bunny hill accessed by tow rope. The runs are un-groomed, and have a beginner to intermediate grade. The facility also offers night skiing. Weekends are often visited by families looking to do both tubing and skiing.
The local ski hill is a winter only facility and is snowfall dependent watch the club’s facebook page for facility updates during the winter season.

Tube the Valley
The tube park at the Drayton Valley Brazeau Snow Club is fun for all ages. From toddlers to adults it is an activity that everyone can enjoy.
This is a cost effective choice for spending a day out with the family.
- All tubers are required to wear a helmets and snow boots. No ski boots allowed.
- Tubes are provided by the ski hill and the tube tram is manned by trained volunteers.
