Winter fun on skis has long been a Canadian winter pastime.
For those learning to downhill ski the Drayton Valley Brazeau Snow Club ski hill is jus the ticket. The hill is built on the slope of the North Saskatchewan River. It has a tee bar and a tow rope to cater to the different skills level of skiers. Non-skiers also flock to the hill to have some fun at the tube park. The park is the newest addition to the hill.
Just down the road from the ski hill are the Pembina Nordic Ski Trails. The trails are groomed by volunteers to accommodate both skate skiing and classic skiing. With 30 km of trails that use the natural slope of the North Saskatchewan River users not only get spectacular views but also huge variety of terrain and a great workout.
