Sam and Kent Dingwall attended a Go Baby Go event in Red Deer where they got to experience building a vehicle for a child in need. They loved the idea so much, they decided to bring the event to Drayton Valley.

County to continue arbitration dispute

Brazeau County intends to continue with its case in a funding dispute with the town of Drayton Valley. A judge has ruled that the County can proceed with an application for a judicial review of an arbitrator’s decision over recreation funding.

Valedictorians look back

Endoscopy program on hold

A staffing shortage is being blamed for the temporary closure of the endoscopy program at the Drayton Valley Hospital. Heather Barrett, the operations manager at the Malone Clinic, says she’s been told the program will be operational for three days in July, but then will remain closed.
